Knowing what happens in an SOS Children’s Villages Programme is essential to all co-workers. Therefore we offer a one-day-programme aiming at gaining proper insight into programme work by experiencing it live while being there and getting to know core care co-workers.

“SOS co-workers visiting SOS Children’s Villages Programmes” aims at

  • Enabling face to face dialogue with responsible core care co-workers in the programme location
  • Understanding better the challenges of the daily practice of a core care co-worker
  • Identifying what aspects of SOS programme work fascinates me as co-worker
  • Getting clear orientation on how I in my given function am interlinked with SOS CV programme work

This 1-day-programme is designed for co-workers from SOS Children’s Village International and from the Hermann Gmeiner Academy who have minimum 2 years work experience within SOS CV. It can be carried out in various locations like Innsbruck, Vienna, Munich according to participants needs.

Participants will get a holistic picture about the essence of SOS Children’s Villages programme work by

  • Visiting a programme
  • Inputs from core care co-workers of the programme and discussion with them
  • Sharing of experiences
  • Inputs of the trainer and a colleague from Programme and Strategy speaking about SOS CV’s programmes of tomorrow.
